I don't really understand why this lipdub gets so much attention. I mean, lipdubs have existed for a while, and I still think the original one done by HEC Paris is the best one.

It's more original, more coordinated and more organized. Come on, they even got the teachers to do it ! Plus, it's full of hot French college girls.

It sorta hit me cuz I dated a Nathalie who went to that school (drummer in an all-girl rock band whom I lost my virginity to), and I saw her perform in that same room the clip ended with. It's doin its rounds here in TO, so nice to have some home town popularity spread outside of MTL.

its true that the HEC Paris lipdub is impressive, maybe its because of the choice of the track that the one of UQAM gained so much popularity, black eyed peas being more popular here? First time i actually hear that Mika song, but impressive stuff. The fact that UQAM students did it in one take is also crazy.
The UQAM girls werent bad either, more curvious for sure.

I had never seen nor heard about those, but I was way more impressed by the UQAM one, much faster, interesting and on a larger magnitude than the one of HEC. Have you seen all those costumes?

UQAM took the HEC idea and made it much better (and the track is way better too).

and it made the news??

Yes, it's making the news. I guess media is only interested when it's made here, even if it's old news ?

Anyway, as for the actual video, the HEC one is better IMO, but you can disagree.

And for the costumes, it's only because it was made during initiations.

Julien stop being a typical Quebecois that discourages local success. This video is the bomb and you should be proud of them even though it is from UQAM, a Universtity that is on strike 5 months a year, costs the province a shit load of money and that accepts in their programs any douchebags with shitty grades.

I'm all for Quebecois and Canadians that reach international success especially if they MAKE MONEY.

hey!! I was accepted at all three uni. (mcgill doesn't have comp. sci.) and still went to UQÀM. It really depends which field you're studying. Computer science is best served at UQAM.

I never felt that I was at a bad uni. when comparing my curriculum with friends that were at the other ones.
