the funny part is he's probably the smartest guy on the show (i truly believe that). While Wes is certainly juicin it, i actually like that guy. Johanna did him dirty by bangin out Kenny, and those guys are being dicks to him because he's pissed about it. Anyway, I love how Kenny, Johnny, and Evan constantly say Wes is being selfish and thinking about only himself and the money he could win. Query: why the fuck are those douches there?

He doesn't have to directly command them. You know, it's called a team of advisers and czars and they can perform directives on his behalf. That said, it could very well just be a member of the news media who is batting for this administration (like the majority of them are).

I can't remember which season he was on, but I remember thinking similarly. But he's so cocky and sure of himself and unwilling to pay any attention to what other people think, that I think he undermines himself without realizing it.
