i don't think it'll affect audiognome.. because AG uses servers other than napster..
when napster charges, audiognome will either find a way around the serverblocks.. or go for others..
30 max? ahh i dunno abt that.. but i have gone over that 30 before

Agrees...
Audiognome uses loads of other servers as well as napster servers... so if the servers for napster get blocked then u just use diff servers or something.. also i can pretty much assure u that someone will come out with a lil prog that gets round the blocking...
peace

Yeah probably
MmMM i thought of another point.. when napsters starts charging money.. mucho people will leave.. than the audiognome results and napster results get smaller 2 (cause of lesser users) That aint cool
I heard that napster users has decreased over 25% now.. cause of the bad press etc.. Napster ofcourse denied this..That still leaves like 37.5 million users though.
And i know about the other servers.. Non "napster" but more like evilnap.. napstah etc dutchnap.. these server will probably keep on existing.. Dont ya think there will be problems using AG with the normal napster servers??
P.S. something i heard about napster software: Dont dl the latest software it contains a trojan!! (quick panic now!! format C:!! ) not a virus trojan. But an auto update trojan. SO when napster wants to upgrade their software to must pay.. It auto upgrades.. MmmM probably a good thing to keep yr old version and dont dont dl the new ones no matter how much napster spams their homepage with "your software seems out of date bla bla.. plz upgrade bla bla"
u can remove the napster autoupdate if u edit ur system registry and remove a couple of files.. but the autoupdate ain't gonna be that bad.. coz most ppl won't be using napster anyway after a little while...

Me thinks audio galaxy will have to make themselves more of an option, its cool but its a bit slow on the transfers at the moment. Once they got that sorted i think most ppl from napster will flood to there audiognome isnt too well known, and is a bit confusing to the lesser experianced user

Yeah audiogalaxy will probably be the main thing..
a good point is the no-transfer errors anymore
a bod point is.. ya cant choose from whom yr gonna download
you just gotta be lucky to dl from a t1 instead of a 56 k user
And yes indeed they still gotta work in it!
And infinity what you were saying is quite easy to do for me .. but there are lotsa newbies/non pc geeks on the net who dont know how to do that stuff
Great threat by the way only the die-hard spammers are in here
haha.. die hard spammers.. lol.. hehe..
yea.. so it'll always be a problem.. there won't be a perfect mp3 downloading program.. hmm lol unless we were all theoretically connected via a local network.. lol but that can't happen eh? lol
hmmmm damn..
wutz da solution then??
none?
audiogalaxy is good.. but i don't like how it takes a lil bit to start up downloads.. and there isn't any file info on bitrate., etc..
but other than that.. its qualityy..
audiognome is a confusin interface, but the database, if u can exploit it.. is very good..
and yea henk.. i didn't think abt da newbie bit .. hhe sorriez =p.. but oh well.. maybe we can build our OWN..
Tranceaddict mp3 downloader.. ok.. who knows how to program something like that.. come on then.. show urself

Hey the napster servers suck...log on to MusicCity servers...why does everyone like the Napsters servers anyway...they only have most of the time 800k files...i connect to Music City servers and each has 5 million files..
yeahh seriously. but the musicity servers...at least for me...doesn't always log me on. way too many connects at a time. i get on occasionally if i'm lucky.

If u click the title of the tune ur downloadint, it gives u an option to 'choose version', that gives u time & bitrate etc.. just do it before u click to add it to ur sattalite
