+1. Now that was a party!!! His first hour was a bit up and down for me, but the last half was just
Derrick Carter is one DJ that I will never miss when he comes to town. The vibe in Cobra was off the hook last night as the place was rammed, but generally the crowd was really chill and just there to dance. A big WTF to the girl wearing a full out skeleton suit! LOL
I hate how they took away half the dance floor with booths. When the place was that busy, it really made it a lot pushier, although some people loved dancing on the seats. Haha. Also, the line up for the washroom was ridiculous (15 mins) and the coat check was full by 12:30am.
Despite those set backs, a really great night with great friends. I love this club and can't wait to return. I am glad they didn't close at 3am, like usual...
Moooooo!

LOL I know. I was there when she arrived and she was totally normal! then all of a sudden the hood came out. WTF.
Also wtf to the guy who knocked over my friend on the dancefloor only to apologize by saying he was so rocked on heroin. :|
Bathroom, coat check situation = bad.
But still I had an amazing time! The openers played a good set in the hour leading up to DC (wasn't a big fan of the earlier part of their set at the beginning of the night). Derrick just never seems to disappoint. He even played Rose Rouge, the remix from the video I posted in the roll call, and as promised I did lose my shit a little bit.
Very cruisy crowd I thought, compared to say FW - must be the yuppie/King St influence.
