having worked literally hundreds of diff events from corporate to clubs, i actually think it's pretty easy to read a person's body language on whether they want to be photographed.. if you see a photographer walking towards you and you turn away, chances are you s/he won't bother to ask you for a photo.. unless you rudely grab me while i'm talking with someone, i'll always take a photo of you if ask for a photo.
that said, most of the photos end up being of univ-crowd girls because i see their eyes light up from a mile away as they start fixing their hair/dress.. when that's the case, it's a lot easier for me to feel like i'm not intruding on someone's party, and i'll always smile nicely as i approach & ask if they'd like a photo.
i hope everyone who posts here who comes out on Sat's eventually gets to know me - jus get my attention if you want a photo!
