Besides the mix...Whats so great about it? There is about 1,000 Drum n Bass tracks that take dumps on it. Ok maybe 5,000. This brand of Dubstep is basically slowed down Drum N Bass...nothing special about it, unless your a kid that just discovered EDM.
I expect more from a track that get so much hype.
I think the main reason that the original got so much hype is that it is catchy & has great crossover properties: It appeals to the dubstep, drum & bass, breaks & tech house genre. Most of creative work is derivative from the earlier works anyway so to my mind it doesn't really matter that you can spot the influences he had a mile away.
EDIT: you are damn fast on the delete button

its a good track, I can see why some like it as there is no major flaw in there as a piece of music in that genre...but the second coming hype around it dampens the impact for me. you expect some sort of holy grail for the amount of hype it got.

andreas saag did a better four on the floor version, and it stayed true to the original. this isn't bad, it's just mediocre and that acidline is just out of place.

I hate when people write off tracks just because of the huge amount of hype surrounding it. The original was an excellent track, and there was a reason a lot of people liked it. But I suppose Kismet could do better, as usual.
