My utterly awesome memory tells me you were staying in the Munich area. People are wimps there, a lot of society fags and chicks with small rat-like dogs in their designer bags. Getting wet would ruin their precious hair style and expensive leather jacket.
For hardcore Germans you need to either meet the coal miners in the Ruhr area or the seamen (lol, Southpark) from the north. The rest are sissys.

hahahaha yeah, i was living in Munich. it was July of 2001. best month of my life, no doubt....sans that one day when it rained. lol
