After going back into this file for the first time in ages, I've given the structure a little polish and I'm looking for some objective criticism if you please.
The emphasis is on an original melody breakdown dropping back into a thumping kick but it's got elements from all kinds of other bits which I've not been back to for quite a while.
Having said that, it has only been roughly mixed down so please forgive the lack of detailed EQ'ing. Cheers!

You definitely have the growling bass line down, but I'm not sure that the phase/flange on it helps. It kind of makes me put off by its continued presence.
I love some of the nostalgia in the sounds of the track. It brings out the emotion a bit more in my opinion without sounding annoyingly old.
I'm not a fan of the piano as an early synth here. Perhaps it needs a different sound. However, when you increase it in key after the break it sounds great.
I kind of get lost in the back end and find myself not trying hard to pay attention. I can't really explain except that the track just seems to blend into the surroundings.
hope you find a bit of that helpful mate. Good luck.

This is actually really good, still feels like a work in progress but so for so very good.
Not sure about the piano but that's personal taste.
Over all great job, thanks for sharing and want to hear the finished article.
I love the sounds you chose for this song. Quality trance. Show us the finished product!
Love the groove in the middle where it's just stripped down to the kick and the basses.
I personally like the piano, but I can see why someone might not like it. I think someone might see it as too much.

Guys, thanks so much for taking the time to feedback. It's fantastic to have additional pointers.
The OS on my production PC decided to roll over and die just after I posted so I'll give it a bit of polish in a few days to apply the feedback and see how things change.

Nice sharp sounds you got there, mixing is nice..
Melody is not quite my cup of tea, though i like the part where only the kick and bass is playing.
Though i feel the mix needs a bit of cleanup at places at the end there.
Okay... listening on my work rig and on headphones, everything feels a lot better balanced now.
The guitar isn't obnoxious like most guitar samples can get. I think it works a lot better especially with the FX you chose. Diggin' it. It may be able to be signed some place. Is this your final mixdown?

I think you have some really awesome synths going together here, keep it up
Thanks mate, it's a real trick balancing it all out without everything clashing together!

Great feedback thanks dude, once Im 100% then I'll get it mastered up and send it out to a select few, then hopefully release it on Upbeat with remixes. We'll see!
