This is it. The best song I've ever made. Production-wise and melodically I think this is beyond anything I've shown you guys yet. Massive credit to Scott/Novastorm/Immersiv/whatever you know him as, this is the first major collab I've done with another uplifting trance artist and I think it turned out incredible.
Scott took care of the buildup's main synth parts, the piano, the basslines and the main arpeggio, while I took care of the mixing, writing the main progression/melody, the percussion, the breakdown and all the other synth goodies. I really like this because the buildup is almost all Scott, the breakdown was all me, and after that both of us did about the same amount of parts when the arp and the pads come together in the climax.
I really hope you guys enjoy this as much as we liked making it. I'm going to take this off of Soundcloud in about a week since I want to send it out to labels, but until then I figure it can't hurt to show you guys.
Cheers.

Nice track dude, didn't think it will get in my head but it did.
whats the bit rate of that file?
@ 6:30 : that synth in the back is a little too much in the back imo (that bright one is alot louder), you should consider balancing those two.

I'd be gloating over this one as well if I had made it! Wow, that is a fantastic track, guys! I left comments on SC, but overall this is worth many more listens. Gorgeous melodies in this track!

@Viber, the bit rate is 320 kb/s. Soundcloud did some nasty compressing to the upper ends, though, that might be causing the leveling problems on your end. The original file sounds a tad cleaner and more balanced, but this is still pretty representative of the original file.
@Cryo, thanks a ton buddy, I appreciate the comments.

Pretty good uplifting track. I would be surprised if nobody picked this one up.
It sounds like the upper mids are a bit harsh, and I'm guessing its from the crappy Soundcloud file conversion process.

Indeed, they got squashed pretty badly. I wanted to put it on Tindeck but that has a download option I can't get rid of. It's probably paranoid to worry about that before even sending it to any labels but whatever.
Thanks for the comment, here's hoping it gets picked up

I've been getting into Soundcloud lately, so I left some comments there. Well done, Scott and Cody!

Really rich, full sound. Maybe a bit too compressed?
The break sound phenomenal, arp is a little bit on the back tho, gets drowned out in all the pads.
I'd agree that the upper mids are coming across all bad via soundcloud but perhaps it's not just soundcloud? Iv'e experimented with a lot of ducking lately, not for the pump but to add room for kicks and leads etc. It might be worth trying with the percussion here, although maybe more work than a simple tweak.
Small detail though as the track does sound great, and most importantly it drives.
