Trance music at house tempo?

I've been on the search lately for house music that has all the great qualities of fluffy hands in the air melodic trance. It's been really hard to find what I'm looking for.

I notice that the trance classics had melodies that I would use words to describe such as empathy, global, visionary. So I try to find house music with this and I haven't had much luck. Is it because it only works when you have a fast boring thud thud 135+ bpm? What's wrong with 128bpm and under?

Here's what I've been able to find that comes the closest to what I describe by just putzing around on youtube. If people could add tunes to this thread to keep this theme going I'd be very appreciative.

Yea...when you do that...it becomes restaurant music. The up-tempo is there for a reason, to inform the flow and the wavy trip of the song. Up-lifting, as I might add.

Seems to be much harder to find good Trance music at Trance tempo today in my experience.

You should look forward to Miika Kuisma new album, here is a track taken from it that has already been released:

Ian suggestions are excellent as well, although some of these artists have taken the tech/minimal route recently.

aye, i haven't really paid attention for a while

I'd also suggest, Nicholas Bennison's album in part. That Miika tune is lovely too, as was their previous effort, awakening. Orkidea's album had some slower tunes too.

exactly, there is already a specific genre describing exactly what you are looking for. Although, myself and many others all miss the great prog of the early 00's, go back that era and you will find plenty of gems.

I am actually listening to Perry O'neill - Arise right now. Maybe not exactly what you are looking for, but how about :
Benz & Md - Sundowner or Turning the Curve
Shiloh - Vista Cruz
or some Markus Schulz or some older Gabriel and Dresden mixes, such as their remix of Beachball...

so the examples i posted are classified as progessive trance? really? i think one of them i looked up on beatport was under progressive house. but whatever i could care less what its called im just looking for more in this vein that's all. and definitely NOT the oldschool prog house sound, even the early 00's. dont know how to describe it but that was a darker more monotonous sound. although most of the newer prog house is just as monotonous, but im mainly looking for the tunes that are not "sonic wallpaper" so to speak. i just want anything that stands out and is memorable, like the first tune i posted ... besides mostly being a high one note stab over and over, theres a middle part that has a little synth melody - that's the part that's memorable that i can recall later and has a good vibe - that's what im looking for more of really.

trancefxs: thanks that ones decent enough.
