Criticism wanted for an Uplifting Trance track I just finished...(Updated)

A new track I just finished; or so I feel I am. It all sounds pretty good to me, but I like to get some outsiders point of views. Maybe anything that may catch your ear that could be adjusted. Thank you for your time as it is definitely appreciated

EDIT: Added an updated link with some fixes I did.... I am not exactly sure if this fixed the issue. But it definitely sounds better.

cool, tune dude apart from that swing percussion at the start of the tune sounds like it doesn't belong and the key change at the end you had some sound clashs but good effort

Thanks... I tried to add some surprises in the track... instead of the same old thing... Was hoping it would make the track stand out a bit more then your typical trance track. Still have lots to learn though. I am glad you liked it

The kick sounds funny to me. Make that snare hit harder during the break. I like that surprise at 6:15.

Don't apply so much compression. Also watch your sub level, especially on the kick and bass drop.

Gotcha... I think I need a new set of Monitors... as the ones I am currently running with have minimal low end monitoring and probably shouldn't be used for production at all to begin with. Thanks for the tip

That too much compression you got going on here got nothing to do with good / bad monitors, you will hear that on any system and headphones.

Sorry to say, its a nice tune maybe, I just cant listen to it for longer than a minute before I get ear fatigue of hell.

Well the thing is, is that I never applied a compressor to anything. So maybe the fact that I dont have one applied... it may be causing the problem. Or perhaps another plugin I have running like Soundgoodizer may be the problem. Guess I will have to fiddle around with some settings and see what happens.

Soundgoodizer is a sort of multiband-compressor / limiter and a limited version of maximus with only 4 presets. It might sound good to you in the first place, but to me it ruins more of the actual sound.

In certain parts you can hear how the break-fx, to introduce another part, is letting the music pump way too much. I would recommend to get rid off the that plugin and re-adjust some channel volumnes and if you want a sort of "mastering" on your track, rather track a combination of a some light EQ, compression and a limiter that works more transparent.

At 5:20 it sounds overcompressed.
The break part is actually pretty cool , and I like the mid bass in the song.
The impact at 2:15 really reminds me of those old trance tracks I used to listen.. You could make that impact more massive though.
The buildup to the climax is actually pretty good.. But the compression just doesn't make it sound nice anymore..
The impact at around 6:15 is pretty unique , never heard that one before.
But try to give some 'introduction' to that impact , like low passing of the pads or the percs.

So .. Other than the compression in this song.. Nothing else makes me frown.

Oh and.. Try adding a clap

Serious?

The whole tune is.

Just listen to the mainpart, how the strings are fighting for space as everything gets ducked by the kick.

I missed any new producing tricks or trends that this is common?
