New Burial album probably coming in 2011

http://www.factmag.com/2010/09/01/k...t-club-to-club/

I think it will be hard for him to win here. Another "Burial style" album will probably mostly be quite boring, unless here really adds a new interesting aspect to it. A completely new style will almost grant dissapointment for shure.

Yay more grimdark boring dubstep. I really didn't get enough after two full albums of it.

From what I've read in interviews and from the length of time he's spent on it, I'd say he's aware of the artistic problem he's facing. It remains to be seen if he'll tackle it successfully.

That probably has everything to do with why it's taken so long for him to put out hardly anything at all.

It will be good music, but probably not anywhere near as groundbreaking as his previous work. Expectations and anticipation are probably going to ruin this for a lot of people.

I think the guy's problem is that he just isn't a musician, or even a proper producer. He made his music in such a completely unusual and enforced way that it had a completely distinctive sound, but he's going to have to work really hard to create a new sound with such limited tools.

He has a remix of Commix due out later this year but I've not heard it yet, nor do I know how old it is. Here it is!

The Instra:Mental remix of Japanese Electronics which is also on that release is shit hot though. Infact it's so good, I'd cry had Bas not stolen my tearducts after Liverpools awful season last year & his need to mourn over Lucas.

So apparently this was just one big rumor and isn't true at all. Kode9 is denying it all over twitter: http://twitter.com/kodenine

Honestly doesn't surprise me one bit.

I think he's been talking about a new album for the longest time and it hasn't come out. The man is generally pretty mysterious. He'll most likely come out with a new album out of nowhere.
