Just wondering what you fellow Aussie TA would prefer to drive:
Holden:
or
Ford:

hah i knew someone would do that. maybe i should have elaborated. i'm buying my first car soon and so i need some opinions on what make you'd prefer. I like both makes equally, so i need something to make me lean towards either one.
by the way. volvo is a nice make and all but i don't think a luxury car is in my price range.

Well, if i had to have one of them, i'd take the Ford (it looks better ).. but if i wouldn't get either if i didnt have to. I'd get an old Mini Cooper S, do it up and give it a racing green colour + racing strips, and a pitch black roof... mmmm... i love mini's they're actually farkin quick when you boost the engine a bit!.

I would say any Holden but Ford are gonna smash them soon. Wait for the
Ford Focus.
Only good Ford ever made apart from Mustang. If you want a big car get a Holden. I don't like either but that would be my preference if I had to get one. (BTW I have a Ford Laser).
Get the FOCUS!

Well despite what I post in the chillout forums, I don't actually drive a Skyline GT-R (SHHHHH!!!)
However, I am in the process of saving for one .. should be in the next few months or so
Not sure whether I'd take the Holden or the Ford, depends on the model I guess. If I was looking for sports coupe, I'd probably go the Ford Probe.
My current car is a Mitsubishi Cordia Turbo btw....

The sig reveals all....
Get a tuff XY GTHO
I go for Ford in the racing but I don't have a sworn allegiance or pact signed in blood or anything with one manufacturer. I would not mind a VX SV300, or GTS Coupe
And the just-around-the-corner turbo charged XR6 should be interesting....

I'm a Rotary man myself. In fact i knew someone who picked up an 11.8 Sec Series 2 RX-7 for like 8000 with a smackin paint job/interior/stereo/full piss 13B Turbo etc. Rotaries are the best bang for your buck you can get.
