Seems Jonas Steur went back to his roots with the new album

I checked some previews of his new album 'tales' and it sounds like Jonas really came back to his old melodic ways

He should release his remix of "Voyage". That track is beyond awesome.

Although I like many old tracks I doubt if I am gonna like new old sounding tracks again.
Just the feeling I got after prelistening.

The previews have a certain old school vibe in them indeed but I wouldn't call it 'old sounding' They clearly are modern productions, I also hear quite a lot of 'modern' prog (trance/house) influences.
It's all quite melodic though but that's not a bad thing for me

That was just the general impression I got after listening. Doesn't need to be that way for others though.

Well, if you see the kind of crap that has been released the last few years under the name 'trance' it is understandable...

Most 'producers' are more concerned with the dj mag top 100 than actually producing something listenable...
One of the reasons I like what I heard from the Tales album until now is that not every track is a copy of the previous one and there are actually some memorable themes in it
