Ok, a few pointers. To me this is House; no Trance in it at all. It actually dips partly into chill/lounge type of music. But that's no problem, quite nice for a change.
The first transition sounded awfull. You stretched the harmonic clash way too much. If two tracks don't fit harmonically you have to be a bit more creative in mixing, not to overlap their melodies. Another major thing is, that you need to take care of your volume levels. I can tell already by the waveform, that the tracks from minute 30 to 45 are too silent, compared to the rest.

Srry i didn't focus on the genre too much, its actually progressive house. I didn't mix on key in the mix for a reason. If they clash so what. I don't touch the gains, so that tracks volume stays there because it was mean't to. (Mastering wise) and it still sounds fine.

So, what exactly was/is the purpose of this set if you didn't care about harmonics and didn't touch the gain? Basicly you just beatmatched same sounding tracks...

it was more of a personal thing, not touching the gains is a good thing when mixing. Too each their own. I'm not gonna sacrifice myself just to have tunes in key. I wanted track 1 and 2 play right after each other cuz i like how the vibe is set.

I really like your attitude. In my first post I just suggested you trying to mix non-harmonic transitions in such a way, that even people who expect a harmonic one don't really notice it. Transporting a mood that way is a real challenge. Anyway, cheers!

i dont understand, why do i have to mix harmonically or try be creative in a transition when i only get is 16 downloads. Why can't i do my own thing for a change. I have a few sets that are only mixed in key. Like this one

September 2010 Session by John Paullino

Why don't you critique other mixes that had numerous replies. Instead of comin here telling me that i need a few pointers. This mix isn't for a radio show or asot bullshit.
