What about your accent?
| quote: | | Let's face it: native speakers or not, we all have different accents in English (specially non-native users, since we mix up american and british english). Anyway, what does your accent in English sound like? |
My pronounce is the standard British accent, but...
1) "bed" and "bad" often sounds the same (Most Brazilian teachers talk this way)
2) "th" rarely becomes "f" or "v" (I fink vere's somefing wrong wiv me, hehe - it's normal to do it here though)
3) "because" often sounds like the American way (the "au" becomes "uh")
4) And I almost always pronounce all the letters in the word "used" (sounds like "you zed" - once again, teachers' fault )
5) I often say ",eh?", eh? I'd rather say "nay" instead (it would be just like my native lang) but I guess it would sound too weird, nay?
