Lushest dance track was released 20 years ago

Sorry for the sensationalist title. I usually don't like this type of threads, but I couldn't help myself this time. I popped in Accelerator yesterday after probably more than 3 years (when it comes to FSOL, it's the album I listen to the least), and I was absolutely blown out and amazed at the same time with its effectiveness with regard to very simplistic sound design and amount of gear used. While most of you are probably familiar with Papua New Guinea, Expander and maybe even Calcium, what really takes the cake and shines above the rest for me is Pulse State, extremely hypnotic and entrancing tune that slides through your mind with such effortless ease and almost deep house elegance. No agressive beats, no harsh acid lines - just pure ethereal lushness. It's hard for me to find a dance track from 1991 that tops this gem:

Funny, when I read the the thread title I thought "That's Papua New Guinea, isn't it?" I remember Pulse State well, it's one of only about five tracks on Accelerator I would listen to, but PNG is just planets ahead of it in every respect, and there are other obvious classics from '91 such as A Huge Evergrowing Pulsating Brain, Higher Than The Sun, Chime, We Came In Peace ('91 Mix) that I would rank well ahead of this.

It is a nice track, but you're obviously exaggerating.

I can never in a million years imagine tracks like these 'going off' in a club. They sound like hold music.

Honestly if the opening DJ were playing these tunes, I'd be getting down with a drink in hand.

Yeah, because this track is clearly intended to be a banger, isn't it?

PNG is great but pulse state is easier to mix in a set. its a good trancey filler track for like midway through your set.
