what's with 'balance' wristbands ( supposed performance technology)
obviously a sham and a convenient link to confirm it but i think it's a neat utilization of the placebo effect, that and how ppl determine the legitimacy of a product based on who endorses it i.e. celebrities
I agree. The bollockfulness contained in this wristband almost makes homoeopathy look credible.
This being sa(i)d, I know a girl who wears it - but she knows it's bollocks and she likes the way it looks... so, even if it doesn't work, there IS a reason to wear it

The reason not to wear it is it makes you look like a moron.

If someone's willing to judge me based solely on a lousy wristband that I know is useless (but that I still like because of the way it look), then it does work as an idiot-repellent... and wearing it becomes a win-win situation

yeah they serve as a great fashion accessory and can be an actual benefactor to self when the wearer notices the imprinted text on the wristband and is reminded of 'balance' and 'power'
they should hire me as their lawyer ehehehehehe

man they did well though. Piece of shit rubber with a holographic piece of plastic stuck on. Spend millions making sports people wear them (a number of AFL players and surfers in aus turned them down apparently ) and you'll make back any expenditure a hundred-fold because of how stupid, and hero-worshipping people are...
