Not a fan of the "woop woop," but I can at least tolerate it.

The whistles, on the other hand, are fucking awful. Blame DJ Alligator.

I try to have most of my fun without disturbing others. It usually works pretty well, because all it requires is me NOT screaming or blowing whistles in another persons ear while they're trying to listen to music.

personally when I hear it during a recorded live set I love it and makes me feel the crowds emotion, secondly move the hell away if you dont like it- sounds like I'd rather be around them then the people complaining about extra noise at a club wtf.

Just read your post after posting mine and I agree the more energy fellow party goers give off adds to the entire vibe IMO, woop woop, dance crazy, go balls out, who cares - better than being around wallflowers there to just "hear the music man" fuck that- feel it.
