I feel bad for everyone who bought a CDJ-2000. Pioneer is really trying to capitalize on th DJ craze going on now by shortening the gap on their product updates, however slight. The Aero does looks pretty cool with the iPad and phone integration.
I'd be po'ed too if I had bought a CDJ-900 in the last year or two too.
When I bought my 800 mk2's back in the day, there was at least about a 3-4 year window before the 900s came out, although I did have owners of the 400 bragging to me about their flash drive input, which my 800s were lacking.

Yeah flash drive is good, deletes the need for serato or traktor. I'm downgrading my 900 to 350's. I believe it had same sound quality and audio specs, has flash drive +6- with 2% increments or wahtever same shit.

I'll never trust pioneer again after the overpriced trash that was the DJM-600 and the effects section that crapped out on like every single one
how hard do i have to press this fucking button, you know what i'm talking about
Finally Pioneer comes with something that matches what everyone else is selling. All nice and good with the worlds best CDJ's when "everybody" is going digital. The Wego looked cool except the rounded corners made it look kinda toyish. Might be the lightning like they said. The Aero is beatiful, but shouldve had 4 channels imo. And it's innovative like Pioneers products used to be. I can def see this is the way controllers will go from now on, and is not far from something I've been pondering about self, all though what I had in mind had the screen tilted on the controller, with more of a Traktor-like OS running.

baha.. big whoop with a flash drive when the player is a flimsy piece of shit lol.. the 800's are nice except for the low pitch resolution.

At one of my earlier club gigs, I played at this club where the dj booth was above the dance floor, so I had little physical contact with the crowd. Suddenly I get a text message from one of my friends "Flanger is on!". FX set to master is very dangerous when you're busy listening to the cue channel.

Hey watch it, traktor doesn't suck. It's good for turntablism and mixing.
