Thumbs down Worst moments in cinematic history ...

In Jurassic Park 2: The Lost World... jeff goldblum's politically correct black daughter does a gymnastics stunt and kicks a velociraptor out a window, saving the day. What are some moments in cinema when you realized what you had just seen lowered the standards of the entire human race?

Re: Worst moments in cinematic history ...

That scene was brilliant.

Mine has to be that scene in Inception where Leo explains he doesn't just want to go two levels deep, he wants to go three.

Or maybe in 10,000bc when all of a sudden giant chickens starts running through a field. That film was pretty batshit insane.

It definitely wasn't as bad as Pearl Harbor but I thought the love interest angle was tedious. Celine Dion's song was just outright anachronistic. The attention to detail, regarding the history of the event, and the special effects were excellent but the romance, I thought, was a completely unnecessary ingredient that seemed to be emphasized for marketing purposes. In finding fault with Titanic, I'm probably jaded about it more than you are and, if you enjoy the film, I can't fault you for it.

I saw a clip with Neil deGrasse Tyson where he talked for 15 minutes about how they had gone put a ridiculous amount of work into getting everything as accurate as possible, but then the nightsky was totally wrong, and then he had been to a dinner with Cameron, and Tyson mentioned it, and Cameron had just said "oh well it grossed 2,1 billion dollars so who cares" or something along those lines. But then a few years pass, the Blu-Ray of Titanic is released. With a digitally replaced, and accurate, night sky. Now if they'd only digitally replace the actors and the storyline...

That's the one Yeah, the whole thing is def worth watching, if only for the novelty of seeing Colbert being humble for once
