Hi everyone,
My final mix for the year is a planned one rather than a typical club set reconstruction. This is actually a competition entry to win a set at Illuminaughty alongside Micky Noise, which would be amazing. I entered a mix last time but it didn't win - I think because it was a little too trancey for the judges. I've therefore decided to put scrotum to ceramic for this one. I hope you enjoy it.

It's a great tune, and I can't speak directly to this considering I live in Kentucky, far away from any serious psy-festivals, but most people view The Prayer as being severely overplayed and mildly cheesy. I am also rather unsure about how that track can be played directly after the huge basslines and sinister vibes that Creature of the Night has.

Gear change for the finale ain't it - full on for the last 2 tracks. Have a gander and let me know whether or not it worked

I actually bought that Electric Universe album in 2009, but I only really like 'The Prayer' on it. 'Psycho Acoustics' was ok too I guess, but I really hated 'Young Man On Acid'!

You should disregard finances and come anyway. IllumiNaughty is an absolutely wicked party.
Anyway, this mix is very good and I've already given my feedback on FB, so I'll just ask everyone to vote so Jon doesn't spend the whole afterparty bitching about the winning DJ, as happened last time.
