I remember about 2001 i read a reference to some techno song that some kid made on his home keyboard. I cant for the life of me recall it. Any remember that one or other simple ppopular edm tracks?

The track that i mentioned in first post was big in europe. I read about it in mixmag right around when knights of the jaguar was breaking out. Napster was still around then.

Hehe I listened to it a few weeks ago. What really makes that track so nice is the thick bassline. It's extreamly repetetive but works very well. Also read somewhere that the sampler he had for that vocal sample was so primitive and had such a small amount of memory that he couldn't record longer samples.

that new order track remixed for Blade. Basically as simple as it gets. Some of the tracks listed especially the trance ones have lots and lots of layers. Some Venga boys and early Brookly Bounce also comes to mind.
