I was at Borders lookin at magz when i cam across Puff Daddy's mug on Mixer...get this...
hes currently werkin on a dance (which he calls Techno) album...i've liked most of his songs...dont get me wrong...they good for rap & hip hop...but will electronic werk?...i'd buy the damn thing just to hear it...LMAo...will it be as good as Airdrawndagger?...i doubt it...but u never kno...
if u guys want...i'll type up the article...lol...
May be he might work with oakenfold or crystal method or something? i dunno. Does he even produce his own beats? or do others make it for him.
Personally, i dont like rap and pure techno together, is that supposed to work? Rap and jungle is good though

Wow, what is Puffy getting into now... oops I mean P. Diddy. He's trying to be that jack of all trades that he was back in the day, but I think he's trying to focus so much on other stuff his "original genre" is going away... like he would rap well to begin with anyway

supposedly its gonna be "pure dance"

I'm still goning to do a dance album. That right there is still in the works. I felt that techno and hiphop never really mixed. Te me, [dance music] has the same type of intensity and aggression. People that understand techno music totally understand where techno is coming from. The beats and the vibes [of dance music] are so limitless. They're almost so advanced that I think that dance music is the new frontier where hiphop has to eventually go to.
Can you mention any names of possilbe collaborators?
There was a DJ from Miami and Erick Morillo. My music is produced from a DJ's standpoint. I take pride that when I look at a hiphop DJ's crate, the most records they have are from the Bad Boy Label.
thas the most of the article thas based on his dance album...

Will he be accepted by the underground?
hes always had a dancey feel to his rmxes...i dont think he'll succeed in the underground but mainstream no doubt...look at Busta Rhymes...most of his stuff have Techno, Acid, and House elements...especially Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See...
