just like trance, its apex was in 1999. it was probably the biggest Japanese import at the turn of the century. people in my age group born from like '87-90 were the biggest targets at the time.

How can we forget, with the current generation of lamentable kidults unwilling to grow out of any of the comfortingly juvenile shit from their childhood?

there's a lot of people in their 20's who still play pokemon and they actually find justification for it. I think it's pathetic. anyone older than 12 should grow out of it. I'm just simply taking a trip down memory lane.

What about Magic? I always thought that was a fun game. I never got so into it that I'd make decks and collect cards but would jump into a game with one of my brother's deck sometimes.

I was definitely into Pokemon back in the day. I'd collect the cards and had a keychain, as well. The cartoons were pretty cool when I was young. I remember playing the game once with a friend in High School (freshman year) and a few times on my computer when they had an online game. Eventually I grew out of it.
Anyone remember Marvel trading cards, though? That was the shit back in the day. Marvel Masterpieces!
