A new mix. I got bored of waiting for anyone to leave a review for my last 3.5 hour epic, and I've been sitting on this one since December. It blurs the slender line between tech house and progressive and was actually supposed to be something a bit slower to soundtrack my easy runs, but it ended up blowing up somewhat about halfway through. See what you think, anyway.

Yeah I'm drawing a complete blank on most of the tracklist, will give this a spin at work this afternoon.

I would have wrote some more on your 3.5 hour mix since I went through it a bunch of different times, but I don't feel I do a very good job "critiquing" mixes or whatever.

Well, I doubt I'm the best barometer of what's on-pulse. I didn't realize Skream had done a remix of Sometimes I Feel So Deserted, interested to hear that one. I actually really liked the original cut of that itself (although I mostly ignored the new Chem Bros LP heh).

Didn't have time to listen this afternoon, sucked up in meeting-hell for several hours. Tomorrow afternoon it is!

It is lol. I recognize most of these.

But will give it a listen for sure. Haven't been able to mix any of this stuff since I sold my X1 and Audio Card.

I know my feedback is pretty shit but after what you wrote I feel bad about not putting anything up about the previous mix. Your stuff is spot on....and I'm a nerd and love the intro with the "Welcome To San Francisco Airport" announcement, I think it's because I love airports, and I love this kind of stuff...

Cheers mate. I really don't mind if your feedback is "pretty shit". It's just nice to hear that you enjoyed it. I make mixes firstly because I enjoy the process and secondly because my own mixes are guaranteed to be full of the tunes I like the most. I make quite a few that I never post on here. When I do share a mix it's because I think other people will enjoy it. If people say "I enjoyed that" it gives me a huge buzz.

Really enjoying this so far. One thing I don't get about more "modern" types of electronic music in this vein is how overblown I feel their use of reverb is. A lot of tracks just sound like they were designed to emulate what it feels like inside a big cavernous cl0b or something, I dunno.
