I saw this a few months ago when a coworker showed me the teaser/trailer. I am not sure what to think on this one...yet.

I saw this earlier today , and never has a trailer enticed me so much , I cant wait to see this .

I like how it's a comic book movie but it seems to be moving away from the typical cgi & explosions theme

He's already getting Oscar buzz. I've seen about 25 mins of the movie and without giving too much away, it's really about the character of a villain as a study. It's dark and less cartoonish that any other version before. Joaquin is on point and honestly the hype is warranted.

He can certainly do a fabulous of "becoming the character". The first thing I recall seeing him in was Gladiator. And by the middle of that film, I was like, "I really HATE this son of a bitch!" I also enjoyed his work in Walk The Line as the late Johnny Cash.

It's gonna be on netflix.

I too need to check this out. One of my coworkers read a post (not sure of the forum/site) which stated it was X minutes too long (with X being the length of the feature).

Of course, critics have always been a poor predictor of what I will or will not enjoy.

It will be difficult to surpass The Departed, but I am fine with him trying.

I love the departed. I need to see that again. I know for sure the security guards where Bulger was kept turned the other way when he got what was coming, true story imo..
