I find calming down after clubbing easier if I listen to upbeat music, as long as it's not too fast or too loud.

Usually nothing....I need a break from all kinds of music at that point...but for the 1 hour and 30 min car ride home I either talk with my friends if they are still alive...or play trance at an absurdly low level.
