Thank u Lena

This is Trancer evryone
I think cause most people in this country take it in the ass so to speak (and they don't seem to mind)- like George Carlin points out on his cd Parental Advisory - Explicit Lyrics in the last track called Euphemisms - most ppl take it up the ass from politically correct media (and corporations dictating in silent background) - think about how Hollywood, media and corporations have majority of US population in a 24 long trance - like all the pc words that have come up during the 90's - we should be fighting this and all the media and music label produced shit music such as Spears, BB, NSYNC, and such no talent ass clowns
Just my point of view - will add more lata when i have more time

not sure what u mean by "sugarcoating", but if it means pretending things r better than they really r, here is my point of view:

there used to be THE AMERICAN DREAM, or ppl thought there would be, America, the greatest country in the world!!!! sadly for them, that dream didnt come true... i think they r now just keeping up the appearance of being the best country in the world, while they dont mean shit... they do, unfortunally, but just cuz iz like the biggest country/union on earth...

Holland, for example = the best country in the world , when we do smth wrong, we wont deny it & face the truth, i think thaz smth the USA/America has MAJOR problems with, their image might get ruined... thaz just bad...

Being Canadian, I get a "birds eye view" so to speak on life in America. Americans do sugarcoat things and have the mentality that "We are the best" "We are #1" I've met alot of nice americans but I've also met alot of the assholes that they have down there. America to americans is where its at and what its all about. They have to be the best or else nothing is good enough. Everyone everywhere is always going to be inferior to the United States.
This is not to start a war of words between anyone and I hope no offense is taken but if there is, it kinda proves mine and everyone else's point doesn't it??

... mmmhhh, sugarcoated ... =)

why is that ? because it's a lot easier to sit back and be spoon-fed some bulls**t how it's all good and peachy than to look around and realize that the country is royally fuct up ...

I completly share your opinion and had similar experiences with ppl from the USA!!

I either met some Canadians in real life and it seem like they are way different to US guys!

i dont want to judge on millions of ppl but throu my experiences with ppl from this two countries

i think canadians are kinda more interested in whats going on in the rest of the world than US guys!!

But i have to say that i have never been to the States nor to Canada myself!!

So my point of view isnt at all representative!

Most of the pop stars get their fame from their looks. Also the reason why they're still popular is because their faces are plastered everywhere u look and the little kids look up to them as idols and fantasy boyfriends/girlfriends. In order for something to be accepted in America it has to be commercialized first.

hmm i'm not sure if i interpreted this question correctly.. but having lived in over half the continents in this world including the US, i guess i can say that America lives in a slightly ignorant society? (No offense there, just stating opinion).. any problems or difficulties, they put to the side, and either "hope it goes away", or "waits till later"... example would be their wut.. 4 trillion dolla debt?
no other country has that.. and whyz that?
i wouldn't say that its because its a superpower nation, and can 'afford to', i think thats just... covering certain aspects of society i guess..

in a way, americans live in what they believe to be a utopia?
i guess.. i dunno..
sorrie if i offended any americans.. but i didn't mean to =p
