GUV vs Viva (SOUND SYSTEM)

Between these two clubbs .... I would have to say VIVA kills GUV.

Guv. has a very NICE sound system and I know there are only three of it's kind around the world. (Well two now) Honestly, when I saw Mauro Picotto last yr for Canada day, the bass was not loud nor deep enuff. I felt like something was missing !!! Don't get me wrong here ... I still love their sound system a lot !!! Since I haven't heard any Jungle/DnB at GUV before ... MP's basslines are the closes to it.

Viva, I swear I have never been that blown away before like that from a sound system. It was LOUD,DEEP and HEAVY. When Total Science dropped )EIB('s - More Fiya .... I had a HARD time breathing, the BASS was insane and I can't belive how my ears weren't hurtin' at all. When Madum Zu came on ... the final test for the sound system was passed with flying colours !!!

When Syrous use to throw huge parties ... there sound system were upto par as well.

What do you guys think ?

Guv's system is definitely alot better, the only problem is that they need to make the sound alot crisper as there always is distortion due to the fact that shit isn't eq'd properly.

both clubs have a great sound system, but i've noticed that with the set up at Guv, certain places in the club have distortion depending on where ur standing .. whereas with Viva the sound seemed very crisp everywhere..

then again Guv is a bigger club , so i'm sure it's harder to cover all areas especially with all the smaller chill areas everywhere throughout ..

someone should make a thread comparing the lighting systems tho .. cuz personally i think Viva owns in that area .. !

i think the guv's actual equipment is better, but they usually have something eq'd wrong. i think viva sounds better as set up, but the guv could (and has a few times) deffinetly sound the best of the two.

Technically speaking the Guv has the better sound system. It's setup properly, and you won't walk out with your ears ringing at all. The thing is that we want to hear music thats loud and banging and in our faces, that's where Viva seems to deliver.

Viva is the only club I have ever used earplugs. Although I should use em all the time I feel if my ears are bleeding like they were at Viva that night (Marco V) the sound system is turned up TOO high.

However I find it really depends where you are on the floor. At viva the only really bad spot is to the right of the dj booth. And when I stand in the middle of the Guv's floor you really feel the quality of the phazon.

PHAZON ALL THE WAY I'll agree and say that Guv needs to tweak up the system sometimes, but for the most part, especially after they renovated, Guvs system is crazy! How can someone say that VIVA'S lighting beats GUV'S??? That's the dumbest thing I ever heard! Which VIVA did you go to??

Seconds that...

Sometimes I think the creators of VIVA thought loud meant better...
