The Dag .... (For Krinker especially)
Hey TAs.
I was on a ski trip last week, and on the wednesday, they brought us to Montreal at night so we could party until three in the morning.
The only place I knew of was The Dagobert, and my night turned out to be fucking amazing.
I got in that place, on the first floor, there was a band playing, with confortable seats everywhere and some people watching. This was @ like 10:30 pm.
Then I went upstairs, and the Dj was playing hiphop, meh, I could deal with that for a night.
So since it was so early, I started drinking of course, but by 11:30, the place was packed ON A WEDNESDAY NIGHT, I couldn't believe it. And the dj started spining techno, I requested some trance but that never happened.
The guy would mix 4 hiphop songs, then 10 techno songs, and everyone was dancing, it was just amazing.
On top of that, OOOMMMMMGGGGG, the lightning system and the sound system fucking rulez. The place has everything from spots, to lasers, to those lights that make figures, and every set of light changes after every song. The laser sure made me happy.
The place had like 24 speakers, and the sound was just sick. The techno beats were super loud, but it was perfect. So perfect that I had a headache by the end of the night lol !
So, yeah, this is just the review of an unknown night at the dag, when there was lots of peepz, and I sure had fun.
Hope this encourages some people to go when they're in Quebec.
