I've just read a poll in a very reliable local magazine, and it says that 70% of people here thought about commiting suicide. I thought the number was a bit high, so I decided to have this poll here as well. This is a serious problem, and it kinda scares me that so many people considered taking their own lives.

By the way, I've planned to kill myself but I quit in the last minute.

i went through a period of talking about it a lot when i was 16/17 but was never really serious....

but then my friend actually went through with it.

after that i grew up a lot and realised that some people are a lot worse off than me.

I've had a very depressive and low self-esteem period for a few years till only last summer... I was seriously considering it countless times.

Well I've actually tried doing it already...and let me tell you it is not fun at all...I was going through really depressive and hard hard tough times in my life which made me grow up waaayy sooner than I was suppossed to and sometimes you just can't see beyond that and realize that your life is worth way more..it's sad because the rate of ppl who have even thought about it is really high.

Now I've learned that life is way more valuable...and wouldn't think even of doing it ever again. Thank God I'm alive, and no matter what happens I know that there's always tomorrow.

i know how it goes...im cyclothymic. Which means when the wave peaks and im REALLY happy, im ALMOST to the normal baseline point most people are at. When it dips... fuck medication too. That isnt you. Its about balancing your life, gettin your shit together, and takin what you got. It gets hard sometimes though...now is one of those times, but i know it will get better eventually and that helps.

No, but there are certainly circumstances under which I'd do it.
