Johan Gielen, born on the 23th of February 1968 in Mol (Belgium), but based in Holland since 1981 plays all over the world. At an early age Gielen discovers his love for music and at the age of seventeen he puts the two letters DJ in front of his name.
As so many other DJ's, Gielen also starts to play at small parties. Johan started to mix in a local disco in the small Holland town of Reusel (Belgium).
He's growing up fast in music and finally Gielen becomes the Resident DJ of Dockside, a big Belgium club.
There he stands behind the turntables for one year and seven months. Johan gets hooked on Trance music… While he's busy mixing other producers' singles and creating big parties with his audience, he feels the growing need to start producing himself.
