well.. that's a matter of opinion. i don't think most of the 'quiet' ones are supporters. youd think with all the rhetoric,'patriotisms', and propaganda being thrown at us that the supporters wouldn't be so quiet but would voice their popularly cultivated view to all.
for every loud protester there are also at least 10 quiet dissenters. i for one have yet to go to a demonstration despite my vehement anti-war feelings (but that will change soon, no worries).

I second that.
America is a country divided. Yes there a lots of supprters there but if you venture beyonds it borders i think that the amount of "dissenters" (vocal and silent) far exceeds the voice of war.
I too have yet to reach a protest and yes that will change. People seem to think that we are all jumping on the bandwagon which is obviously not true. It is people finally willing to take a stand and make their voices heard. It is a democrazcy right?

like the abortion issue, many people are confusing the sides here.
i am pro-bush, not pro-war. bush is not necessarily pro-war. We are pro-disarmament of iraq. Now, if asking nicely doesn't work, and negotiations don't work (which they haven't), then we must take the next step.
i am also pro-humanitarian rights, which saddam is in grave violation of.
