What originally got me into electronic music was when I listened to various Eurodance, such as Eiffel 65. Then I heard some random trance tunes on a college radio station, and I fell in love with trance. Then my friend let me listen to some Oakenfold discs.

My sister got me into trance when she started playing the likes of Alice Deejay and ATB, and then Sandstorm came out and Kernkraft 400 became popular again somehow, and I just started typing "techno" into Napster and hitting search.

Some goldies I remember coming up with:
BT - Flaming June
Denzel D - A Binary Star
DJ Hydro - Trippin the Trance
and a mislabed remix of Cafe Del Mar - Energy 52

and I became hooked immediately.
