well, i've been challenged. twice. by flesch and kaos. so, now what? do we pick judges, or use the ones we have?
should we wait for all 20 people to sign up before having matches?
do i stream my set, FTP it what?
also, i appreciate the speed that this was set up, and casesladder is reputable, but to be honest, i don't like the site. It's poorly designed, has annoying ads, and is difficult to use. just my $0.02, maybe it will get better as we use it, everything has a learning curve i suppose.

You forgot the word FREE in there as well.
Yes - the site is janky- I know- The current challenges are Luke and I and Flesch and JohnSmith-
Basically its like this- You two can record something and ill give you some FTP info to upload it to. Anyone can judge really- Just people (as many as you want really) that you agree on.
If you want one person to judge it then fine-
As long as its something you both agree on.

I just signed myself up at that myleage stuff. Do I need to do anything else so far?
I personally think the mixes should be between 30 and 45 minutes. Flesch's right that tracks will begin to repeat themselves to soon if the mixes go one hour.
Furthermore I think that a whole challenge (from sending the challenge to the final judgement) should be at most 2 weeks. Since nearly anyone else from here has got go to school, work, or both or something else, it can always be, that there's a week you have absolutely no time. So i think with 2 weeks we'd be better off.
What about the music style? is it only trance or can you kick in something else, like let's say do a house set? as far as i see the judges' skills nearly anything electronical should be possible.
for now, i have one last question: when i do a set and play it over the computer's speakers i tend to give the sound a hall effect, so the sound's often better (and it's got an even more "live" feeling). since i have only dsl i would anyhow record the mixes and load them up (but i have no webspace where to upload it.. i think we need one ;-), would it be "legal" to record the mix with that hall effect or no?
