I dont live next to him,but i am sure Oakenfold does what he likes and apart from other djs i think he very differse.I like him a lot because he does what he like and not what people expect from him. The same with ferry Corsten they all take another path. And people become older and there music will always change the same as people change.

Oakenfold is THE reason i started listening to trance. Back in the late 90s, he WAS trance. everyone who is critical of him should keep in mind his status as a pioneer.

that being said, i became a little disenfranchised when he released Bunnkaa. While that disc had some pretty good tracks on it, it sure as hell wasn't trance, and definetley was not his best.

but i am back behind him 100 percent after he released The Great Wall. That album is quite good. Although I feel the first disk was a bit lacking, the second was incredible. The mix of FEAR by Ian Brown to start it off is haunting, and it finishes on a great note with As the Rush Comes.

Oakie is the man!
