This is my final rant on this topic - armada, you have ceased to come up with any more interesting or creative insults, and I'm getting rather bored.
I must ask, though, why does only attending some of the events make me less worthy of a gig? You had your chance to play just like I had mine. How is that so unjust?
If you would like to say that because you attended one or two more events than I did, and that makes you more worthy of a spot at this particular event, then go ahead...but "committment" speaks nothing about attitude and, whoa, even DJ skill - both of which are factors in getting gigs too.
But..please explain to me what you are trying to gain by this thread. Some of us are just trying to stand up for ourselves. You are so blatantly trying to drag other people down with you. It's become rather unfortunate. Think anyone wants to book you, after the bullshit you've initiated in this thread? the name calling, the swearing, the ridiculous accusations? How does all of that help PROGRESSIVE MUSIC?
In conclusion to this post, in which I've had to again make you look like a very desperate individual, I'll just say this: you can accuse me of being on TA just to get gigs, you can accuse me of being a horrible person because I didn't show as much "support" as you to this community, which you are so superior in, you can imply I have no DJ skill, even. I know, as do many others, that all of that is untrue. If it makes you feel better to say it though, go ahead. I'm not too concerned, because it is apparent that every time you post, your credibility has gone the same way as your respect for the rest of the folks on this board - completely out the window.
