I know your question is not directed at me, but ill answer it. Yeah, I really dont like this tune. Production wise its not that bad, but its nothing special. Lyrics also suck. Thats my opinion. I respect those who like the tune though.

He has a point, though. There's no way in hell anything is going to beat ATRC.
Didn't read through the whole thread so sorry if they were mentioned already, but:
1. James Holden - A Break In The Clouds (Main Mix)
2. Radiohead - Street Spirit (DJ Tiesto Mix)

basically, if it aint made/released in 2003, it aint coming in

Sad, but probably true.
I like As The Rush Comes, but put about ten or twenty tunes from this year above it.

"I’m a dance floor favorite? Great! I would say the passion that I feel for the music I buy and the honesty with how I play it. I play the records I love not the ones that simply work. I’ve never taken the easy music option (which would make me a lot more money by the way) but chosen to push people a little. I try to draw people in a new direction slightly and expand their taste a little more than other DJ’s." - Lee Burridge

I dont know if this has been said already but I think it is a travesty that
'James Holden - A Break in the Clouds'
is not on that list. it may not be THE tune of the year, but imo, it is definitely worth consideration...
Also, I would definietly consider
AR52 - Hibernation
