it's true, depending on the woman and the situation. if it's like a one night stand the girl's probably not going to give a shit if you call or not. believe it or not, some girls DON'T think that sex is this super huge love act. if you're dating the girl and you guys have sex and you don't call, she's going to be upset. sure she could call you, but then she'd be wondering how you feel about it and why you didn't call her. it's confusing and it's hypocritical, but women like to know they are appreciated and wanted. women love to feel wanted. when they don't, they draw conclusions like "he was just using me."

Right after she broke up with me we had a longggg walk to our cars - I did just that - made sure she knew I wasn't just using her...
