hey guys, it was great to meet everyone at the ship and anchor. being recently relocated from chicago to reddeer/edmonton i didn't know any of you guys but you guys were all cool to hang out with! hopefully we'll meet again for a future meetup? well i was pretty much passed out for the night. after about 5 beers, someone bought me a double shot of Jagermeister which gave me this monster headache. i pretty much had to lie down for an hour. the set itself was pretty solid. Gabriel seemed to have a solid command on the decks and a feel for the crowd. an impressive progressive set... some of the songs i heard

- Layo and Bushwacka - let the good times roll (josh gabriel remix)
- Sarah Mclachlan - Fallen (G&D remix)
- the milkshake song with coldplay clocks/serendipity in the background melody

weinerschnitzel, highlight of the night was meeting the infamous miss weinerschnitzel from COR, what a surprise! not sure if you bf is on TA but we talked a bit and he seemed like a cool guy!

haha Josh was funny, he took off to the washroom pretty fast as soon as his set was over haha.. i don't blame him tho.. 3.5 hours... ouch!... yes Dave, definitely thank Josh for a great performance and hopefully we'll hear from you two again in Alberta.. gonna try to make arrangements for you two to come to Edmonton

Hah yeah he booked it to the WC. I was choked for a second because i thought he would shake our hands all. He came back though cool guy.

Sounds like a good time was had by all, too bad I missed it. Yea a Ferry TA meet sounds liek a good plan, finaly meet some of the people on these forums in person.

Thumbs up for the Calgary show i went from 10pm till 6am.

It felt like he was playing his favorite tracks off of nyana and in search of sunrise 3

There was in no particular order cause i forget:
Nothing - holden & thompsen 93 returning mix

Falling/diving- Delerium was one of these forget the name

Kelis - Milshake : remixed to unrecognizability but pretty fun to dance too

Beautiful Things- Andain
ones i remember plus a whole lto of other stuff but most of it i felt like ive heard it before on a tiesto mix

there were spots in the night where it was like the speakers cut out or something but it only happened to gabriel's set like once.

He also had some spots where he completlty killed the bass to make a synth rise up and everyone just like stopped dancing like they were controlled by it or didnt know how to dance with out it lol, and started hooting and clapping. people off in the corner were doing glowstick poi'ing and a glowing handkercheif thing too which was neat to see. all in all was a fun night

Seen some wierd guys who were hopped up on robitussein dm lol (they left real early) and i found it wierd going wee in a trough but other then that was cool night.

Sounds like it was a wicked party. I wish I didnt have to miss it but I guess there is always next time (fingers crossed).
