I thought of building my own table as well, but then I found this piece of furniture at Ikea. Perfect height (~1 meter)and enough room for a couple of hundred vinyls..

Front
Side

It's actually two pieces of furniture that I've put together. And I only paid around $55 for this

EDIT: Those are the best photos I have at the moment (crappy mobile cam).. will post better ones when/if I get a hold of a real camera

That table looks pretty neat - suitable for my needs anyway. What is the "name" of the 2 pieces of furniture?

Make a template for the top.
Important: Make sure you cut the wood from the bottom, that way it will reduce or elimintae the top from being ripped.

My tables are flush with the table and i have a inclined mixer, all wires hidden.

Here are a coouple of pics:

There is probably a power strip hidden behind the mixer. Im thinking about doing something similar. I dont need anything too elaborate. Im just trying to figuire a way to make it so when I get an updated mixer that I can modify or remove and replace with the proper size. Without having to remake the whole thing. So a semi-permanent mixer location is what Im looking into.

or one thing is plugged right into the outlet itself..

i would like a permanent setup, but, i'm always hauling my shit around town and spinning out, so it's not practical.

I wasn't aware that a wallet and belt determined one's sexuality...

I love girls as much as I love music, which I might add says a lot
