Having been to the past two Labour of Love events this one ranked right up there with them as amazing and run a lot better than the previous two. The lineups outside were massive, the music lineup was amazing. When we got inside we decided to wander around and check the place out and see the different rooms.. Skybar was to be our home for the night, except during Ferry Corsten's set. Made it down to the Kool Haus to enjoy Mark Oliver laying down some great tunes as always as everyone anticipated Ferry... long story short, Ferry fuckin killed it!!! I can't wait for a friend to post a setlist, I'm sure he got most of it. The highlight was hearing Punk and Rock Your Body Rock back to back (at least I think it was back to back).. I'm not much of a trainspotter for new tunes, so hearing two wicked ones like that was great. After a while we headed back to the Skybar to stay put for the night.. got there for the end of Freq Nasty's set which was awesome. Was VERY suprised hearing Icey and not hearing any cheese - it's funny how everyone says "such and such a dj sucks" but they havn't heard anything recent from them. He layed down some awesome tracks, and was very animated behind the decks having fun. Madame Mercury and DJ Whatt were the same way.. we left just before they finished. I was a bit disappointed at first to not have heard Infusion or Deep Dish, but later realized they'll be back - it was awesome hanging out on the skybar with new and old friends and people I haven't seen in over a year.

oh and we saw the Big Show from WWE, or maybe just bigfoot.. or maybe he's the same person...

LOLOLOL!!!! I saw that dude walk by in KH. I looked over at my buddy and said."Dude, he's wearing a carpet.."

Yea that was crazy went up to the skybar, next thing i know it's like 6am!!! Good times though

Here's my review:
Mark Oliver was amazing
Ferry was amazing
Then i freaked out from the heat and the ppl walking by me while i was trying to dance. Went outside to smoke with Loca and Loconet, then ended upstairs in the skybar, then went back to the KH and rocked out to De-Kooze, Me and pett tried to leave, when we reached the doors we heard Murder was the Bass and promptly turned around, stayed for another couple tracks.

Steve

I had a really good time but most likely would not go again next year.

Got in line at 9 to make sure we got in right away. Go in at 10:30. Mark Oliver seemed to struggle with a few of his early mixes but pulled it together for a a nice finish. Ferry Corsten fuckin rocked the place. Danced for 3 hours stright. Stopped at the of his set an dfelt sick from the heat.

Went up to the skybar and chilled for a few hours. Pissed cause I missed NUNRG and Infusion. Ahh well... figured security would have kicked me out for puking so it seemed like the better of the two options.

Honestly though the vibe in that place is not as great as I would expect. The ravers are great but the clubbers just don't get it. I could ahve made my cover back if I got a nickel for every clubber that bashed into me and just kept walking. I know it was busy.. but there are ways of getting though without being an asshole. Also I don't see how much cooler it can be with a shirt off? There seemed to be too much coke and juice being mixed in some areas.

Like I said... great night... but not again

Holy shit yes, she was pure burnt-out-pornstar material. Monstrous breasts, HUGE goddamn bulbous ass, and gigantic lips to match... Ugh.

Also, shit, I wanted to meet DJ Ampz, but nobody could tell me where the hell he was. Hopefully you're there for Josh Gabriel this Saturday, Ampz

In addition, Avro. I wanted to apologize in person for being a dickhead 2 months ago. angielips told me you were about 6'1" with shaggy blonde hair, and someone fitting that description came up to me and shook hands with me because of my shirt, but then wandered off... It didn't clue in to me until later on that it might've been you. Ah well, next time.

It's been one of the best parties of the year.
Tried to find Nat most of the night and had no luck...

It was really nice to see all of you guys.
Hope to see you soon again...
