Don't worry hun- we didn't have any personal time w/tijs. That was just techead taking us on a tour of the club. I think many of THOUGHT we were gonna get to see him, but that wasn't the case.

wouldn't you guys love to see tiesto in a smaller venue (more intimate) playing fresh underground music (that you are unaware of)? i think something like this would really allow him to be A LOT more creative than he is when he spins BIG EVENTS.

those are my thoughts...

GOODNIGHT

p.s. im glad that all of you enjoyed yourselves to the fullest! at the end of the day thats all that matters...

TOTALLY AGREE. When i heard traffic come on, AGAIN, i really did wish i had my eggs and tomatoes. That fucking track is getting old. REALLY OLD AND OUTPLAYED.

ANYONE who disagrees, STFU, please, its done, done to death.

When i go see DJ's i expect to hear stuff that i DONT already have. Isnt that what a DJ does? plays new music? When i lived in kitchener and bought records (when i could afford the, not no more as a student) i asked for choons when i started out as a noob. The store owner was like "dude, that track is old...." so i ask "how old is old???"

3 months minimum. Yah. 3 months.

I knew that when id go in i would be hearing a ton of tiestos own music, and while im sure the dance scene (at least within the tijs genre) is becoming more like pop culture, as opposed to CLUBBING CULTURE.

Best track he played, hands down, AND ANY REAL TRANCE ADDICT WILL AGREE, waaaaaaaaaas.....

*drum roll*

Max Graham - Airtight

Yeah, that was the shit (too bad i left early, i wish i coulda heard it)

HOWEVER, Sean Miller blew me away when he layed down Sasha - Xpander!!!!!! HOLY FUCK!!!! And then Sander Kleinenberg - Soul Shelter

If tijs can get away with constant rehashing of classics, why cant I? All i got are massive old choons. If i ever went to a club and gave my mix, it'd get tossed out the window faster than paris hilton on a fat cock.

Now, im not saying tiesto is/was bad. He did, in fact, deliver. As expected, his own choons turned me off, but, the rest, fucken A. Cept for that one breaks track....what the fuck was he thinking? LOL!!

Great night, great DJ. My rating would be All his choons played, minus his own, out of the total. However, i was hopeing he would play Obsession, very nice track.

And for the recent bitching about :

Tijs = Cheese?

Well, commercial wise, YES. In the club? No. Not really at least, i heard a couple of really crappy tracks, but he came out on top with some heavy dark stuff, reminded me of his old magik days...and in response to that,

FUCK! KEEP IT UP!!!!! YES! BRING IT BACK OLDSCHOOL STYLE!

Cuz thats the REAL TIESTO everyone should know!!!!!!

Tracks i wish he played:

Obsession
Jan Johnston - Flesh (Tiesto Remix)
Major League - Wonder?

Oh man.....Major League - Wonder? would have delivered so bad if he played that, all the noobs woulda been like

Anyways, id go again, for sure, if i didnt have work at 10:30am, i would stayed past 5am

ps.

Highlight of my night:

One of my Zara customers comes up to me, with a new shirt i sold him the same day, offering me Special K.

LOL!!! oh man, i was like

I just love how people bitch every time Tiesto comes to TO but yet their the first ones to get their tickets. Anyone who listens to Tiesto's live sets or mix cd knows what their going to hear when they see him so why be so suprised when you hear tunes that you know. I think it's simple, if you don't like him don't show up!

peace

whitey:

i think its also funny how you assume stuff about someone you dont know past an avatar image.

and whats also funny, is that you seem to think that DJs should get praised for playing tracks that haven outplayed by AT LEAST a year.

Give it a rest guy, some tracks should not have been played AT ALL. You know it, i know it, even Tijs knows it.

His stuff from like, ISOS3 and back was OMFG. Today its just a mix of old and done to death with new GOOD stuff.

Im not bitching that hes bad, but id expect MORE when i payed 50 bucks. (although i knew he was gonna play his own stuff, but thats not the reason why i went, my friends would have cut my fucken balls off if i didnt go, cuz i introduced ALL of them to trance)

[NFC]Wave:

if i were to get a CD signed by Tijs, it'd be Magik One. Not his commercial stuff.

What blew my mind completely was this song I heard from the Tiesto Gelredome Arnhem 10-30-2004.

Someone PLEAZE help me find the name of this song. The lyrics go like this:

"How did I let you go…(voice echo and fades out)

when I Lost you …in the darkness of a lonely night…and I found you in my arms and holding me so tight….when I’m with you and I kiss you, I can feel your heart……don’t you know that I’m the one to keep you safe and warm…….

Chorus: Never ... let you go"

that song that u r so craving for....

is....

drum rolls....

Interstate - Found You

heh...enjoy!

YOU ARE MY HERO! and I am forever in your debt. I was going insane all over the net for this song. Thank you!
