Well, anyway, I thought this little tidbit from the NYTimes Magazine interview of Jeanne Phillips, the Chairwoman of Bush's Inauguration Committee was pretty funny:

Word to this...I was there....spent 22 straight days helping build up the dikes and protect homes and on day 23 we lost it all. The only good thing that came out of the flood was the 20 days after that I didn't have to go to university...combined with the 20+ days our "class work" was to work on the flood...it was an unproductive semester. Damn you mother nature.
