back to the topic:

here are my feelings on the subject.

remeber when you trance crackers first listened to euro-dance music ( you know you did don't lie); you thought the music was re-freshing and cool. Than you slowly began to understand the 'cheesey' elements of the music, either by listening to other music or just hearing the same 'euro-dance' format over and over.

you may still listen to euro-dance ( like I do sometimes ) but with a new understanding that its cheese. you understand its silly role in EDM.

this is how I feel about epic dutch trance. I won't lie, I did like it before, but soon came to the understanding ( like what happened with my understanding of euro-dance) that it was cheesey. All the songs has the same structure, the same sound, etc.

I can still listen to trance but with a new understanding that its cheese.

or it could be the music is outdated.

when i listen back to the Prodigy - Experience, every track is cheesy but then i understand that back in the day that was cutting edge.

I feel that non-cheesey music will last the test of time.

here is a classic example of 'old' music I can still listen too and not find it chessey.

Out there and Back

You're a Class A PVD fanboy, and you're annoying me. Of course it's a bloody anthem. The entire track is focussed on the lead anthem.

what do you mean? maby stuff like Another Way is an anthem, but FF is completely different. Why is it an anthem, because it has a melody? Compair it to something like Rank 1 - awakening

just because a track turns commercial doesnt meen its cheeze.

If you think its cheezy now, then it was cheezy back in the day. Just because something is cheezy, doesnt mean you can't like it or enjoy it.
