When will labels realize they need to be putting stuff out within 2 months of it being sent out to dj's ?

Fair enough if their is problems with sample clearence but otherwise there really is no excuse.

Its played out so so quickly and there is nothing more annoying than having to wait on a track to come out. One of the main reasons for piracy IMO.

Its like walking into a shop to buy a drink when your thirsty but the shopkeeper telling you "sorry its not delivered yet you have to wait".

what would any of us do in this situation ?

Go to another shop of course. And steal it

2 months is long enough. People who would buy the release would hear it within these 2 months IMO and it should be capitalized on.

Especially now we live in an age where an MP3 can be easily downloaded and burned to CD. People dont have to wait anymore for vinyls to come out.

Thats the difference these days and the sooner labels wake up to this fact and start helping themselves the better for all concerned.
