If they're really serious about signing Cassano, Then they really should take a good look at Thierry. I don't think that Cassano can be compared with Thierry. Henry is soo much better!
I was disscusing this with a friend earlier today and we agreed that he probably is going to sign a contract with either Juve or Inter. I would really be glad if he does not go to the Spanish league, I would like to want him in Inter more than the Spanish league if Juve does not sign him
If he goes to Juve, What's going to happen with players like Del Piero, Zalayeta and Mutu?
That's why I have doubts about Henry in Juve. |
Na Man. Im telling you Juve wont do it for the following reasons:
1. Arsenal will want a large sum for Henry something Juve rarely does(pays the value or greater for the player ala Vieira)
2. Cassano would be a cheaper and younger buy
Cassano is good, I think he doesnt get enough credit for his talent for him being at Roma. Wait til he moves, he will be a top 5 striker in the world. In my oppinion he is better than Gilardino.
Del Piero I can see leave in Jan to England. Zalayeta's future is in Italy or Spain I believe at a club like Valencia, Roma, Lazio you know those second tier we win a title every 5 years or so club
Mutu will stay I think Capello likes him and loves the threat he possess when coming off the bench and making spot starts.
If anything I believe that Henry will not leave Highbury but I do think this will happen which will upset most: Trezeguet will leave to Arsenal! Yes the exact opposite. Its been rumoured forever and I think Capello would let him leave for 25 million, perfect for Wenger/Arsenal when they move into their new stadium.
Juve with the money will buy, Cassano and Iaquinta or a striker on his level to replace. Just my thoughts.

I think you've got a point when you're saying like that. It's pretty obvious that Del Piero and Zalayeta probably is going to move if they're going to buy Henry. But I would not like to replace Henry with Trezeguet because that man has made some really important goals so far in the start of the season for Juve, Not to forget about all the great goals that he has made under the time in Juventus untill now.
I do believe that Del Piero won't stay too long if he's going to be on the bench all the time. I though that in the beginning of the season he would've play much more and score at least more than 2 goals as he has done so far. But still, It's a very good player that is important for Juventus when it comes to the big matches.
Still. Cassano can't be compared with Henry atm. I do think that Henry is a way much better player than Antonio Cassano, But as you're saying, It's a pretty good transfer to buy Cassano and continue with him, Trez and Zlatan - Would not be wrong, But who does'nt want Henry in it's team?
..and I do think that Juventus is'nt going to make the same misstake as Real Madrid when they started to buy all those phenomenal players that's currently playing ok, But they did not start very well and convincing in the league. The Juve board won't make the misstake to buy all those players and then do nothing with them, It would'nt be like them at all
Would be really nice too see Henry in Inter if not Juventus though, What about a attacking pair like Adriano and Henry?
Wicked, That's all

Trez is overrated the first time I saw him score against a good opponent was against Inter last week, other that that he scores some shitty goals against shitty opponents but Juve fans love him so I guess there is a reason something I can not see.

True but he will come at a higher price than Cassano who has the upside to become a possible Henry in the future. Thats all Im saying wouldnt pay an extravagant amount for Henry when you could have that in a cheaper form in Cassano

Juve is smart they rarely make moves like they did with Vieira which is why I think it more unlikely than a flashy bid for Henry and more likely for a pretty much only Italian big move in Cassano.
Na dont want Henry, Juve rarely makes moves like that, same with Milan but Inter always does and who comes out on top since this has started not Inter. Fuck Henry would rather have like some youngster transfers ala Kaka & Ibra(he was young)
