My two cents.
Vocals are good untill they make them the focal point of the track, and then the music behind it suffers, the second you put the big powerfull "fake emotive", vocals in, the music has to be so piss weak to let them throu7gh the mix, so they're musically boring, the good tracks are the ones, which have the nice rythms with the vocals, hence the reason for g and d's success.
