I'm so glad it's the summer so that I can catch up on some of my own reading. During the school year, I find it really hard to do any extra reading.

Thomas Freidman - The World is Flat (finally going to finish it)
The Tipping Point - Malcolm Gladwell

Those are the next 2 books on my list to read.

A Million Little Pieces is probably the most common book I see being read on the subway.

Just finished "sex, drugs and cocoa puffs" by Chuck Klosterman. Loved it, a hilarious and very well writtten collection of pop culture essays.

Last night I started "The girl who walked home alone" the personal biography of Bette Davis. Im diggin it so far.

We have this book at work as one of our cheap remainders. I had always thought about buying it! Let's hope I can find it...and I'll give it a read.

Andrea, this woman is my current favorite author. She has written three books and I have adored each one of them. Longer, more difficult reads, no shit chic lit.

Zadie Smith
- On Beauty
- White Teeth
- Autograph Man
